After more than a decade working in the ‘wine trade’ from the humble commis sommelier at the Ledbury to Head of Trade Sales for wine importers, Caroline Brangé
decided to put her business degree to good use and founded Ealing Wine Cellars in 2022, a wine distributor selling wines to both private consumers and wine professionals. Since then, the need for a company focusing solely on the wine trade arose, launching Vin de Vie in December 2024. Today, Vin de Vie is a leading importer of artisanal wine. With a portfolio focusing on France and Italy, we bring an ever-evolving showcase of talented winemakers to the UK. The wealth of experience and encounters along the way have given Caroline an acute sense of what makes a great grower and winemaker, building a portfolio of ‘Terroirists.’
What do we do best?
Our portfolio focuses on vibrant wines with a sense of place, made by small producers who put their hearts and souls into what they do – just like we do. To select every wine that will make it on our list, we travel through winegrowing regions and meeting winemakers in their element. They are always happy to show us their little piece of heaven, and we could not be prouder to bring them to the UK for you to discover. We can proudly say there is not one wine on our list that we would not drink ourselves. For a bit of depth and maturity, we also source small parcels of aged fine wines from dusty cellars which can be found on our fine wine list.
